Review :This particular poem is one of my most favorite & finest of creations. It’s written to inspire, encourage and amplify people’s nostalgia.
I have faith! that once you’re done reading this aloud & repeatedly, ( not sermonizing!) a positive effect will bind you and we shall connect as a writer & a reader.Hopefully!, my message will get through and so will my expressions.
It’s aimed to revive the memories of a person.
Please don’t forget! – to read slow, read aloud, read repeatedly and acknowledge the punctuation well! .
it’s purposefully structured ,to bring the best with all above considerations.
Enjoy vocalizing the rhyme aloud ! 🙂
P.S. previous poem : ‘To do the right thing’ : tag- righteousness, good & evil

Theme :There is a moment in everyone’s life, which stands out to the rest of them.
It may be an experience of a singular being or a band of loyal- friends/peers/equals/contemporaries. One grows with age and realization turns more true. This poem aims to revisit that apex of nostalgia, in one’s recollection of old memories.

Thank you.
The Moment
I
There are times in life,
They don’t skip nor fly.
They stick to your soul, hold on.
In your heart there’s a feeling,
When years turn decade; grows vivid.
& decades turn century; till forever.
They don’t turn to oblivion nor succumb to dust.
What was held in the moment?
What was seen in those seconds?
I wonder.
II
Some brighter, shine around brightest.
a million folds , strangely! yet hold.
with feelings unknown, bond loyalty & belief..
Who knows! what stars conspired & plot.
There are men of honor.
Brighter they burn & extinguish.
& others with time, they linger & ponder.
What made those moments, one in a million.
Yet wonder shall I, but decades thereafter.
Many moments conspired,
But it was the moment.
For me & my fellow.
Which one is yours,
Tell me.
