i could not search the starry night,
i could sing no melody chores,
i sit luminated in the moonlit landscapes,
and dip my canvas in black & gold.
they grazed alongside like a forbidden path,
they shielded instead to my astounding wrath,
they amazed this powerful melancholy,
they invade upon my intellects' volley.
they could not reap, they could not sorrow.
there is no song, there is no melody,
they could not sing, they could not borrow...
i could not search the starry night,
i could not sing no melody chores,
i sit luminated in the moonlit landscapes,
and dip my canvas in black and gold.
i fulfill my promise to the pen & paper,
of all unknowns be ashes, musn't wake her,
i could usher the cries, along with pattering rain.
i could flow like a river, to her barren plains.
i could sing all night with no melody,
i could unplug my wrath with melancholy.
but all i unwish hence couldn't be,
and all i wish yet couldn't be.
i could not search the starry night,
i could not sing no melody chores,
i sit luminated in the moonlit landscapes,
and dip my canvas in black & gold.
i sit with this moment & i procrastinate,
i overwrite this melody & i insinuate,
they could no more be the witness,
they could not fashion my misers' chores.
they invade upon my blasphemy,
my astounding wrath,my forbidden path.
they overjoy my melancholy,
there is no song,no melody.
i could not search the starry night,
i could sing no melody chores,
i sit luminated in the moonlit landscapes,
and dip my canvas in black & gold.
